I got really lucky one time when I got pulled over going 60 mph over the speed limit and the cop had forgotten his ticket book back at the jail/stationhouse. Now, I hadn't intended to be going 96 is a 35 zone, but there was some creep who kept pulling in front of me and slowing down to less than 20 mph, and that started when it was still a 45 mph zone. I finally passed him and stood on it to get away from this creep in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. I did get escoreted to the highway by the cop and asked not to return.

oooh nice one! that sure beats anything i've ever gotten pulled over for. (even the time the cop threatened to arrest me for attempting to "evade an officer." now that was some b.s.) but dang, you lucked out big time. :shamrock:

I really did. He warned me that I can lose my license for 50 or more mph over the speed limit, but if there was ever a good non-emergency reason for driving that fast outside of a race, I think my reason qualified. It was really creepy the way the guy was playing leapfrog or something on a dark back road. But yeah, lady luck was with me that night.
