If you're really worried about crowding and the aesthetics of the thing - here's an idea...
If you bought those wonderful fake bushes that you can bend any which way, put a few down on the side where you don't yet have a hide. Then you can bend the plants to form a sort-of leafy canopy that your snake can crawl under and feel secure. I set up Atilla's 29-gallon tank in a similar fashion until he needed a bigger enclosure, at which point the crowding wasn't a problem and I bought him as econd hide.
Just keep in mind that you'll have to use enough plants to create an area that can hide the whole animal - otherwise she won't feel secure.

If you're still considering a Sterilite type enclosure, Garden Ridge has some on sale this week that are 80-something quarts and big enough to make a permanent home for any BP for $12.99. (I'm the bargain queen.)
