Re: BP soaking a lot - no mites
Is everything else fine? Her sheds been normal? She still eating and drinking alright? Her feces look ok? If so, meaning everything else is ok, I'd give it awhile and see if she keeps on doing it. Definitely get her temps set correctly. Your cage seems way to hot to me. I keep my cool side right around 80, and my hot spot around 90, but your humidity seems spot on. Try cooling the tank down a bit and see if that doesn't fix the problem. My guess is she is just cooling off a bit if you have one side at 87 and the other at 98. Not sure if I was reading that right. Do you have a temp gun?

Bottom of the tub. If they can burrow down to it, they will.
Re: BP soaking a lot - no mites
Might be preparing to shed, i had a BP that would soak in her water bowl in the mornings or late at night, i thought she had mites. Took everything out washed and disinfected everything including the tank. Put everything back in she began doing it again so one day went into het tank lifted up her rock on the cold side and saw she was in blue.
