Will snakes die in Florida?

Actually what I was hearing after the last cold snap was that the larger snakes were dying. The larger snakes with more body mass were not able to warm up to a decent temperature during the day and so were perishing, while the smaller snakes with less mass WERE able to warm up during the day and so they survived. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next 20 years or so.

This just means they will not live very long. The only small pythons in the Neverglades are the young ones. As far as anyone knows, there's no evidence of dwarfing genes in the Florida population.

Sums up my thoughts on this. As usual, the environmental alarmists are always wrong. The snakes are not going to be dying off in vast numbers because they are not there in vast numbers.

Not fur, feathers. I also heard that they found a small one that appeared to have developed small front limbs. In a few generations they will be able to fly. Soon we will have 30 foot warm blooded feather covered flying snakes...dear god the humanity
