    I hear you buddy. I wanted to get a H2 for my new T8 but it was out of my price range as well. I did grab a Vivarium VE200 though instead. Seems solid, good reputation, much cheaper too. I'm not saying it's better than the Herpstat.. But a lot of people like it, and it's half the price. :)

    i actually also use these for my flexwatt. i have a dimmer switch mounted on also and it works great. it helps with the constant on off settings. i run mine at about 20-30% and it works great.
    and still havent had one fail on me. *knock on wood*
