Can anyone answer my Quarentine question?
And anyone else know where if there is a cheaper ESU then 24$? If not I'll just buy that one.

Proper quarantine requires housing in a separate room -- preferably on the opposite end of the house/building -- for a minimum of 30 days (90 being better), handling non-quarantined animals first and always using germ-killing soap or similar between animals, using a substrate with high visibility for p00 trouble and mites and such (like paper towels), and never sharing supplies of any kind with other animals. A curtain does not count as quarantine. Maybe if you are creative, you can figure out a closet or other place to tuck the bp out of the way for a month?

Well I have a large wardrobe in the basement, but I have already tried my setup down there and I cant seem to maintain proper heat and humidity levels in it T_T I'm everyday measuring different places, but I'm running out of places to check.

I understand it can be a challenge. It's up to you whether you want to take the risk, but I do have to advise that quarantine is the safest approach to take. Maybe under a desk or table you could find space?

How about a closet in another part of the house, or another room somewhere else in the house you could put him for the month? I think quarantine is necessary, however it is up to the keeper.

I'd put it on top of the fridge, but theres several problems with that. Fridge isn't big enough, too high up to access easily, other people don't want to see it everytime they want to open the fridge, bird cage is already up there...

BTW, for a thermostat I bought the Alife one from lllreptile.com mostly because the one place i wanted to get that ESU with 3 outlets, wouldn't accept my credit card and when I called, they had some wierd message o_O

Its not that they don't want to see it, its just I doubt my family would be interested in having a snake on the fridge for a month. Besides its always airconditioned in the house and I wouldnt be able to have it heated on top of the fridge.
