Those snakes only have a 50% chance of being het clowns. Now I know some people who swear that they can spot a het clown based on looks, but personally I just don't see it and wouldn't trust it myself.

if the hatchlings are both female, then it makes sense.

you would give away a male mojave for two female possible het clown hatchlings, then you buy a male visual clown. that can make sense.

if these are males or when its a pair, i would say no. oh, and breeding possible het to possible het definitively makes no sense. a male pastel possible het clown is of very limited use, while a male possible het clown without pastel makes absolutely no sense.

so thats what it depends on: if you plan on getting a male visual clown or already have one, and if these are both females, then the trade makes sense. otherwise i would say dont do it.

Hets only make sense if you trust the person you're buying them from.

Possible hets only make sense if you trust the person you're buying from and feel like spending 1 to 3 years gambling.

There are too many hets from a visual parent running around now at decent prices to make possible hets worth the risk, IMO.

He's trying to make money off a base pairing it sounds like to me. If you really want clowns, go buy either visuals or 100% hets. He should be selling those as pet quality normals and pastels.

I was planning on getting a male clown but i may just get a male clown and a 100 percent het clown female and i may just trade my mojave for a male bumblebee or try and sell him which hasnt been easy because nobody wants to buy him

I doubt you get a bee male for him. Maybe if you ponied up some cash on your end to go with it.

I know the want to make your favorite morph, and two 100% hets aren't a bad idea if you can't afford a visual male right away.

That sounds like a better idea than than the first one. As aforementioned, there is no point in a male het clown, if he proves out. Clowns create some awesome combos and you can breed the male clown to up to 5 females that are het for clown and have a codom or dom gene.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy snakes and that's pretty close

Why is five the magical maximum number?

A two for one gene deal wouldn't be something I'd bat an eye at. Unless the bee doesn't look very good.
