Re: New boa new to keeping boas
Oh I said I wanted a male albino. That will happen before the end of the year. 😂😂
Also funny thing was at the shop again the lady in that department was very weary to put her hand in the enclosure to get it. Saying "you know they are very nippy" I just shrugged and was like well getting bit will likely happen sooner or later.. Might as well get it out the way. She looked at me like I was crazy. I reached right in. The female I was going to get was the nippy one and took a couple shots at me.
Picked my guy up and the women was just standing there shaking her head saying "your nuts" followed by.. "Well how come he's not biting you!?" I politely told her my work on my hands and hers are totally different. As a wall of rodents was right behind us...😂😂😂

Thanks Geo, that set up looks amazing as well.
Ultimately my end game for him is to build a enclosure I can mount on top of a 6' fish tank stand I made a couple years ago. I sold the tank and now it just holds smaller tubs/bins/cups/water bottles/cloths... You see where I'm going with this.
I'm thinking a 6'x3'x2' and do a 4-5' viewing area with spare glass from work. I'd glue some sort of tile on the bottom/walls. Make another glass cut out/tile on the bottom for the heat. source. Caulk it all to help secure the glass and make it hold humidity better. I can even add glass to the top for the lighting... I want it to be tall enough that he could climb if it wanted.
