I think it makes a difference. I use my Facetime frequently, and that was a mess before the update. Now it works seamlessly for me. Hope it helps with your battery! Good luck.

Re: iPhone Question: battery life
I got home today and was at 75%. Still kinda crappy imo, but much much better than 39% yesterday lol
Re: iPhone Question: battery life
I tried the s3 and hated it. Couldnt get used to the different keyboard (the iphone keyboard is just faster or more responsive or something), the camera/pics weren't as good, and the phone was too damn big lol. The screen didnt look as clear and sharp to me either.
I think i may invest in one of those cases that have a full battery charge built in. Are they worth it?

I just keep a charger in the car, but rarely use it. My battery lasts all day. If I use it a ton, I may get down to 20% at the end of the day. I don't know anything about the charger cases. Is your phone completely dying, or just getting low to the point where you're uncomfortable?

I also charge my phone whenever I get a chance.

Re: iPhone Question: battery life
Almost forgot I bought a PowerRocks for under $40. It is a rechargeable battery that comes with micro-USB and iPhone cords. I was looking at the battery cases for my S4 but didn't want to add the bulk and, I really like my OtterBox.
It works out as a decent alternative when I am away from a power source for any time.

I'll actually agree with you about the keyboard and camera, samsung does a horrible job with both (there has been updates since then however), but you can download other software, like swiftkey with predictive word based on your previous texts/emails and swipe. As for the camera I just downloaded the stock android one, forget samsung. Ill have to disagree about the too big and on the clarity part tho :)
I have never bought one, but I have known people to buy them for other phones and never heard a complaint. I guess its just personal preference, if you don't mind the phone being heavier you can get a lot more life out of one charge. Your phone has a 1440 mah battery and is also used so not at 100% compared to new, I just googled a random battery case for iphone and it was 1700mah, so using that you should see well over double the life. Also take into account that the bigger the battery, the heavier it will be.

Apple's auto brightening is actually works better imo, you can select auto brightness and adjust the base brightness 1%-100%, then it will dim using that number as the base, not just click auto and your stuck at a fixed number. I keep my phone at full brightness just because I like it that way, but I still think android should have the ability to do it.
