I had the same issue with mine last night !! I could of killed him when I finally got him out,at first I thought he was hissing at me but it was his skin rubbing on the 3D background lol

I could not find him at first (did not think to check behind the background) so I went out to my mom and said he was missing and nearly gave her a heart attack! I looked everywhere in my room and then I cleaned out his entire cage and found him squished against the glass! he's only like 460 grams but I had no clue he could fit through the slots!! it was crazy

it's four in the morning and I woke up yet again to the sound of styrofoam against glass and a snake who just thought it would be hilarious (sarcasm, of course) to squeeze through the tiniest slit ever and get stuck behind his 3D background.

I recently had stuffed the slits with paper towels and bedding but I guess that wasn't enough! very frustrating

does he hate his tank and habitat or is he just being the "escape artist" we call the bp's?

I'm 76.2% certain that they know we're going to jump up from a dead sleep because we know what that noise means.

The sound we CAN'T hear is them laughing at us.

I don't think bedding and paper are going to do the trick. I ended up needing to cram stacking stones in there. I have some extras if you can't find them locally. Pm me and I'll send them out.

I have the same enclosure and haven't had this issue, but the way I see it is: If their head can fit, then their body will fit also. Try flipping it over (upside down) and cut little slits in it so the wires are just able to fit.

I'm picking up some silicone sealant today so I can run a bead across there. That noise is making me nuts!

I ended up just stuffing it with paper towels and some little rocks. like aquarium pebbles. so far it seems to be fine! I also try to cover the background at the bottom with his hides and plants and stuff.

curious to see what everybody else is doing/has done. :)
