Hides in a rack system?

    I keep hides in all of mine. I am yet to breed and when I do that I will be pulling them out.
    However if they feel more secure in a hide that's what I prefer to do.

    I base it off behavior, both for babies and adults. They all get two hides to start, and if I never see them out they get to keep them. If I keep finding them on top of or draped around the hides, they're out. But I always pull the hides out for feeding, breeding, or impending eggs since those are times that I either need to see what is going on or they'll need extra space.

    I use multiple hides just to take away floor space because I have mine in bigger tubs so I didn't have to get all different size racks. Works well and I have no problematic feeders.
