    I just got a new bp to and she's very evasive as well. Stays in her his 90 percent of the time. She seems happy though.

    Bps like to hide that's there security,leave the hide in the tank...be considerate of your pet and it's needs. You want a show piece of get a bearded dragon or green tree python

    I have heard this from another member: "A hiding python is a happy python" :P I definitely wouldn't remove the hides either. Once you have her out, she should calm down after a moment. Over time she should get more used to you handling her and picking her up. Just give it time :)
