If you had a collection page, then you could simply link to each of the parents from the for sale page. (Similar to what was already suggested.) Videos aren't necessary, but a video of one of your clutches hatching would be a nice touch!

You might want to have an events page that is kept dark until you actually are breeding enough animals to take to shows.

I agree that simple and easy to navigate is best. Also be sure to keep it current, and that your mom sets you up so that you can do it yourself and aren't dependent on her.
