I would check with them on the heating and lighting options. It says it has ports which to me sounds like it is set up for heating rocks and such. If the bottom is wood too a uth is not going to work very well. You also want to be careful putting heat lamps within the cage for a snake. Those issues are what I see with it.

I know you said you were looking at black melamine, but if those bluelizard viva are solid, or even hardwood veneer on the outside, JUMP ON IT! They're about 1/3 of what a similar sized melamine goes for, and if it's just veneer on the outside, that's still good. If I could get one in the states, I wouldn't think twice. Imagine the oak one, stained black... And for under $100?

KMG has valid concerns, but I think it could be worked out with a little creativity.

Hey! Been offline a few days and came on here to a message linked to this post! Swell Reptiles is supposed to be really good for vivarium set ups. I just got a new girl and put her into my 3ft viv. She has three hides so plenty of space to hide and she is doing really well. I use the really useful boxes for my others but I do have a vivarium too :)

Heard good things about blue lizard reptiles too but more positive things and more recommendations for swell reptiles online :)
