    Yeah, this may end up being way simpler in the long run.

    I do still intend to get thermal curtains, I want a set of drapes anyway and why not get ones that serve two purposes? But insulation sleeves for the tanks (as you are correct, both are in glass with UTH) might be more immediately cost-effective and have more immediate results.

    I was having the same problem. I just use a red heat lamp, on the cool side, 24/7. Works great.
