Thanks for all of your replies. Sorry i have not responded, been working alot of hrs. Yes i am positive all of my temps and humidity is correct. I have a accurite on the front left side w the probe ran around to half way up the backside of the cage(cold side reading 75 during day and 72 at night). On the hot side i have a zilla thermometer with probe in the substrate reading 92. Also halfway up the back side of the right side of the cage is the probe for my exo terra thermometer/hygrometer reading 83 during day and 80 at night n humidity ranging from 50-70%. I also have a infared thermometer i use daily to moniter temps and im getting the same readings with it as i am all the other thermometers. My ball still is not using any hides even after i took her hides out and rinsed them off a few times. She will find random spots to lie. The only changes i made when i cleaned her cage is i went back to using reptibark instead of aspen. (I only used aspen once and for only a couple weeks bc it would not keep humidity). I also mixed in a brick of coco husk with my reptibark to help with humidity and it seems to be holding well. I am at a loss of what to do or why she is still laying in random spots instead of her hides. I have had her for 8 months now and have never had any issues.

    That is so funny!!
Mine is just a little guy, couple of months old. He just randomly stops using hides I think he can still fit in, then I add in a larger one and that's all he uses :P My corn snake will use any hide... big or small, and just stick half-way out.

ok so before work today(about 2pm) i cut a hole in a cardboard box 8"x5"x5"(big i know) but it was the smallest one i could find. Anyway i took out the hide on the hot side and replaced it with the cardboard box. Later on when my girlfriend got home(about 10pm) i asked her where my snake was..Can you guess where? Yea she was in the box with her head sticking out the door! Im still baffled and i even seen it for myself when i got home about 5am. Still dont understand what is wrong with her other hides but looks like i will have to buy some new ones. Thanks again everyone!!
