    Paper boxes or whatever are no good to leave them in..I invested in a 1/2 gallon and 2 gallon tank which I leave them in if needed..last time I left a mouse in a cardboard box,I came back 20 mins later to find a hole in it and 3 hrs later after taking my trunk apart and slightly having to cut a small slit in the bottom of my back seat of my 2010range Rover,I will not be leaving them unattended in boxes any more.

    If one of my rats goes missing, I have a 5 gallon "redneck rat trap" ready to recapture them.

    Only difference is I have shredded newspaper instead of water in the bottom, and a small bell attached to a string so I know when the bugger has been trapped! Works brilliantly.
