Cool animals. I love the blue devil. I would get one, but I just have Oscars for now.

if you want a devil dont mix them with oscars. i did that by mistake and the red devil killed him overnight. The shop guy told me they would be able to live together. i was pissed because i had had the oscar for about a year.

i also believe piranha's are illegal in florida. that i why you cannt find a dealer that carries them.

Yeah I would never mix anything in with the oscars. They are aggressive amongst one another, but I know that another fish would definately push them around and it'd be ugly.

Piranha are illegal here in NY too, but you can get them if you know the right sources (wink wink.) I prefer to keep legal-only animals, though, because it's legal and stuff.

Aw, Why are they Illegal, I'm not planning to let em loose in any pools!

They are afraid that people will flush them when they dont want them anymore. Stupid because they need a tropical water temp of about 90 to servive.

I'll try to get a permit to keep em, once I move.
