    I very rarely see threads that advocate cooling BPs these days, so I do wonder where you read it. But to each their own. I personally would never ever set a hotspot below 85, even for breeding. Ambients are different, but BPs rely on their hotspot to help digestion and gut health and to prevent RI in their high-humidity environments. That's like being confused why you got pneumonia after being outside for 12 hours in rainy 40-degree weather. :?
