Are you in a dorm or do you have an apartment? If it's a dorm, no way would I leave them. There's probably a few dozen people that have access to your room, even if you lock it.

Shortly after we got our BP, hubby and I went on a brief vacation. We were gone for 4 days. We fed him the day before we left, made sure he had plenty of water and double checked that his enclosure was secure. He was just fine when we got back.

Yes they can be left alone for a week. Feed them before you leave, and make sure they have enough fresh water for while you're gone. If you know of a GOOD pet store around that boards and doesn't have nasties like mite running around I would contact them and see how much it is to board them. I had to leave my girl for a week because of going into the hospital for surgery. I did have a friend check on her but she was good. All they did was check water and temp humidity.

The great thing about snakes is that they don't need daily attention or daily meals. Your snake(s) will be perfectly fine left alone for a week if you have a thermostat hooked up to your heating elements.
Even if your snake ran out of water during the trip, it's honestly no big deal if they have eaten recently. Snakes get their essential hydration from their prey. Water in a dish is a luxury of captivity that some just happen to take advantage of.

If you think it will hold, if it's some $60 piece of condensed wood then I would not bother, hell I am ~185 and could kick that in on a bad day. I honestly think a tub is your best bet if it's a communal place is just to tub them and have the whole family at home, but if you can find someone trustworthy to make sure no one's been snooping, then you should be good. Dorm raids on my campus are very common during the holidays...someone had their bed stolen over fall break, we thought it was a prank...nope. lol

I am in an apartment not a dorm, and I dont know the guys at any pet stores well enough to leave them there so i guess ill just leave them here. The front door and my bedroom door will be locked, I feel as if i dont really have anything to worry about i was just checking to see if anyone has had experience doing this

We went on vacation back in October for 9 days and left the snakes home alone. They were fine. I fed them the night before we left, made sure they had water and we left. When we got home they were ready to eat but fine.

I'm leaving for my wedding/honeymoon for 8 days on december 1st. I'm just gonna feed em and fill their water dish all the way to the top. I'll also make sure the tubs are clean. I'm sure they will be fine.

A week should be fine, especially if you feed right before you leave.

One thing I did though is make an auxiliary tub for Tali (and now Argo) that lives at my parents house and I have a few food items in their freezer so I know they have an enclosure if I decide to bring them with me. That might be something to look at for other holidays so all you need to transport are the snakes :)
