The problem with tanks is that the think if they can see through it they can walk through it, and they'll keep trying to walk through the glass. But if you get a large enough tank (minimum 75 gallon: 48x18) you can remedy that by putting some type of border around the base of the tank (at their eye level) so that they can't see through it. At least this is what I was told when I was looking into them.
