Meant thermometer to measure air temp

    thermometer $5.00
    hygrometer analog $7.00
heat lamp and bulb maybe $20
    tank $20.
    Carpet for tank$8
ok so $60, that still ain't nothing.. It shouldn't be a problem cause if you own a pet u have to be ready for vet bills if it comes down to it,so either way if $40-$60 is a huge difference then u have financial trouble, like maybe you do,well I don't,i make just about a Grand a week :) Give or take,it's a great thing,haha..so I don't stress a diff of $20
in a 10 gallon,I'd just use a heat bulb and dome or a heat mat,no diff in hat case..in my 20 gallon I just have a heat lamp in my 29 gallon I have a heat bulb and UTH,depends the situation

Then I would not put them in the same room let alone the same tank. What if one has mites, is sick, etc
That's why we practice quarantine. You risk a lot if you put them together

Um I don't see why my financial stability is in question... but thanks for your concern... I'm just fine. And nobody asked how much you make so really no need to throw it around.

Hm, well a che is $25, the lamp dome another $15, that's already $40. Plus tank, lamp stand, heat mat, and hides, plus a thermometer AND THERMOSTAT, is nowhere near $40. Properly setting up an enclosure doesn't cost only $40. And that carpet is just nasty, I would never recommended that bacteria harboring stuff...

OP, before you listen to what just anybody has to say, do some time reading here, you will get a feel for who to listen to or not. This guy ^ is not one I would recommend anyone listen to, ever. Nothing but drivel.

As far as housing 2 together, can it be done? Sure. Is it recommended? No. But the biggest thing is quarantine. Otherwise you risk exposing your whole collection to who knows what. RI, mites, or worse. So any new addition should always be properly quarantined away from your established collection.

If they didn't come from the same breeder I would definitely not put them in the same tank. You can get an inexpensive tub from walmart if money is an issue but you will still need a UTH and thermostat for it.

No, winning a photo contest doesnt mean jack. Having hands on experience does. Pretty sure I've got more than you. You're such a peach... "njus" fyi, isn't in the dictionary... I know enough to spell proper ;)

If you don't have the money to get a proper enclosure, or have the room to properly quarantine new additions, there is NO GOOD REASON to get another snake.

I'd take doolittles advice over yours any day. Pretty sure her kid has more knowledge than you.
