    Yeah I know. I was just talking about other diseases like ones from africa or something. The way I read Chica's post sounded like the mom was worried about diseases. Not just salmonella. I was gonna edit my post after I posted it and add in a thing about general hygiene too(wash your hands before and after handling..stuff like that). Sorry. :D

    If you have it in your feces, that means you're sick with Salmonella, which usually ends up with you having diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection.

    Hey Reptidude and Blink... Everyone has a healthy amount of bacteria in their feces, including salmonella. It's only when the bacteria get to high levels that you show outward signs (ie:getting sick). Basic personal hygeine is all is needed.

    Well, if I have salmonella in my poo then that means I have it. So if theres salmonella in my snakes poo, that meens that he has it?
