She also ended up eating about half the litter before I moved the babies to a foster mom. She just had her second litter a few days ago, no issues whatsoever. Same dad and everything. So I'm not exactly sure what went on.

I can't anymore, but I'll do my best to describe them.

They were gray and about the same size as the live ones (slightly smaller) the top of their heads looked caved in with a misshapen mouth and no obvious nose or eyes. They were a little wrinkly (looked dehydrated) They did have some hair on them.

I don't know when they were born exactly. When I found them I hadn't checked the cage since last night so there was a 10-12 hour window where they could have been born.

The live babies look healthy to me. Very pink and just a little plump. They squeak every so often.

I was wondering if maybe mom had gotten to them. Maybe the grey ones were the first out and were hung up and bruised?

Well just an update. One of my other females had her first litter last night. 14 healthy pinkies. The 3 from the first litter are growing, and seem to be in good condition. My last female looks like she is going to pop any day now.
