If its not a birth defect then it might go away after a few good sheds. It looks to me (I'm no expert) that he needs more humidity. Like hes dehydrated. I could see the white spot you were talking about. Ot could be mineral deposit or a lottle piece of shed from his last shed. Also look at rat pinkies or fizzies at his age my girl was eating rat fuzzies. Go by the laegest part of his body to judje the soze of food. Sorry cant spell today. Hes a cute little thing though. Good luck with him. My girl is about to go through a shed too. Her stomach is going pink. Look around on the Internet for good care sheets for him. Thats how I learned. They are also a bit forgoving about SOME bad husbandry. Also get some moss and dampen it and put it in his hide on the warm side. It will add some humidity. After you put it in just direct him at that hide and kimd of nudge him into it. Once he sees its humid he will probably love it for his sheds. Jist mist the moss when it starts drying out.

Rat pinkies are still too small at that age. He does look quite skinny in that first pick... if it's mice you feed go hopper or small adult mouse. If it's rats a hopper rat
