I kinda like when there's a regular sized pic, like a thumbnail, with a link to a nice big one. This lets the viewer decide if they want to see the huge pic. It'd be good for people on dialup connections, because I remember my whole computer would freeze if a semi-big pic was in a message.
What I really hate though, is when text stretches off of your screen and you have to scroll sideways to read it. That irks me! :)

mlededee, I love your kitty avatar!

thanks gin! that's phoebie the princess of the household. she followed me home late one night when i was taking a walk. she was so skinny and dirty i figured that even though i didn't really like cats i would give her some food since i felt sorry for her. that was 2 years ago in august

kitties are now the greatest

Okay, so I'm clueless about what size produced what effect, so I don't have enough knowledge to vote (jeez, I feel stupid), but here's what I CAN tell you: I don't mind scrolling over to see the entire picture, but I do prefer that the picture fit the screen. I hate it when I can't see the whole picture at once.

How true! I adopted Inky from the spca, it'll be 2 years ago this November. He was a skinny little thing, but now he is fat and healthy. I love rescuing an animal; seems like they know that you saved them from a life of misery. :)

800 - I hate scrolling and that is big enough to get plenty of detail in your pic...
