I'm thinking either het red axanthic BP, or a BCI. Most likely the latter.

    I'm betting on red tail.

Occasionally the layman gets a hold of a blood python.

    And unfortunately.
    $10 says it's actually a milk snake. :rolleye2:

Anyway, on the general subject, I did get one of these dumb comments the other week from my JROTC instructor. I'm not sure about all of you, but I tend not to give a crap about little comments like this and said "whatever" and walked away. Didn't even remember about it until now.
Should these ever happen again though, I'd be willing to take one in temporarily, provided I have the facilities to house it, and if it's in a decent enough shape, I'd take it to an official rescue. That's one less abandoned exotic snake in the local news, you know!

Well, it was a male BCI and I can't take any more right now, QT is full, plus hubby wants a Surinam male for Christmas (not to breed, just as a pet because he fell in love with them at Hamburg). So, I directed the BCI's owner to our local FB reptile group, saw his "Free Snake" post about 15 minutes later, and that male was rehomed in 30 minutes. :D
