They are actually only $50 each and I know he's put more money into them than that and that they are in good health, so I'm thinking I'll make room for them. I only have room for maybe 5-6 adults for the next two years, (until I move from apartment to house) but I'm out of money for morph snakes, every other dollar needs to go into good caging and equipment instead. but for BELs i would advise for something like lesser mojave, because super lesser/butters sometimes have eye issues and are sometimes blind.
Wow I really said super lessers didn't I. I knew that and have it written down in my plans to avoid. I specifically am getting the mojave female for him because lesser x mojave is my preferred BEL combo. I'll keep an eye out for a quality mojave or calico male to put with future lesser females in the next couple years. I'm not afraid to produce super lessers if trying for something else, but yes, I'd prefer to avoid it like any good breeder should in knowing the risks.
