I believe its a good preventative measure to always treat new additions whether they have mites or not. Every snake that goes through my quarantine gets treated for mites regardless.

Will do..now, I am buying a snake tommorow,when I buy this mite stuff,how do I use it,does it go on the snake.?

Ok just did some reading,says to treat the tank and let it vent out completely before putting snake in its enclosure.
when treating the tank,what do I just spray it on the bedding and the walls of the tank?

Yes. Spray lightly. Let it air dry until you cant smell it anymore. I think the instructions says wait 15 minutes before putting the animal in, but I'll air dry it for an hour to be safe.
When its in a wet or vapor form, it can be toxic to animals, which is why you don't spray the animals directly.

Ok that's what I read..someone said they wait a few hours...ok will do..now when I mist my tank with water for humidity ,can it re-activate the chemicals in the provent a mite .?
