    Refrigerant in a fridge circulates via compressor... It will not transfer heat when it's not running.

    Definitely yanking the compressor out. Will be running 12" Heat tape along the back wall of the cooler and the usual water bottles to help hold the temps. I am hoping that that I can use the fans in the top for circulation. If not, I will add a PC fan or two. The the light inside is a bonus! Will make it alot easier checking in on clutches without opening the door. Planning on starting this in the next week or so but with hunting season started in PA, it will most likely be drawn out over several weeks if not longer ;)
