Why Morphs?

    1. I choose the morphs that will get me to the combo I really desire (like my leo girl for ocelots and leo pinstripes). 2. Because morphs are just more visually appealing to have. I like having a variety of snakes that all look different, even if some might only be pets (I don't have any pet only ones but I imagine Allure won't be used all that much because I'll have mulitgene males to replace him with the following season if things go right).

When I eventually get a retic I want a snow even though it'll cost me several grand if I remember correctly. If I'm going to have a snake for 20 years or so I want it to be the color I find most appealing. :) I have no plan to ever breed retics.

The genetics are fascinating to me, and we do breed and sell our hatchlings. But the bottom line is every morph in our collection we chose because we just like to look at them. And, sometimes I think the morphs help win over non snake liking people...
