Some pass on that genetic trait and others don't.

As far as ID'ing Enchi's...kind of hard to describe but they usually have a kind of milky, peachy tint to them and don't have the deep, dark blacks of normals. I've only hatched a couple clutches of Enchis but they were very easy to tell from the normals when you see the entire clutch together...

Ah okay, that makes sense then. I can see now on some of the good Enchi pics I have seen, that they do have a lighter background color instead of the typical darker black like you mentioned.

And yea I noticed her standing out quite a bit when I had her next to any other normals of mine (the other young one that's het Pied has some nice color on her too), the older ones all look similar to each other and kind of a typical normal I suppose (they're all in the album I linked in the OP), which was the reason I wanted to ask.

She finished shedding last week so I took a couple more pics (outside in hopes of better lighting). I noticed after shedding her colors still looked good, a nice yellowish-gold on the bottom and a darker color on the tops. I also noticed her black/background color seems really dark, even darker than my black pastel's black in some areas (he's the other one in the double pic). She looks great in person. Looking forward to seeing any offspring she might have in the future, but that's a few years away.
