If you can't take care of the snake properly (with appropriate enclosure and t-stat) and cannot think and act responsibly (as these two aforementioned threads so obviously indicate), then you have absolutely no business breeding ANYthing. I am sorry to sound harsh, but frankly I feel somewhat deceived now. :(
** Nikki, thank you for drawing my attention to these threads. I obviously missed them at the time. I still do fully believe in encouragement and mentoring, but only when the newbie proves they are deserving and sincere. :gj:
He has a AP T8 for his Dumerils coming in soon. That Halloween thing is supposedly her 'temporary' home.
I genuinely think he's trying to care for his animals and does love them, he's just ignorant, unprepared, and rubs people the wrong way....

Why are we still talking about this??
This guy came and showed us that he's a little rough to deal with; frankly some of our "well-respected" members can be the same way at times. We hounded him for it on his first posting about BPs, then when the admin came down on him he calmed down.
Granted, he did take it up a notch with his last few posts, but WE were the ones that kept fueling the fire; WE were the ones that kept calling him childish, WE were the ones that drug his previous thread content into every single thread he posted in. If you ask me, WE are the ones at more fault here than he is...he was looking for attention, and we gave him just what he was looking for; we teased the proverbial stutterer, and then cried foul when he continued stuttering.
I agree with Ms. JLC....especially recently, WE as a community have been a pretty sorry lot indeed. Lately, whenever someone disagrees with our view, rather than just walking away WE have been hammering the person and forcing them to go on the offensive. Then, when they get infracted because we egged them on so much, WE have the gall to say "Guess WE showed him what our happy community is like"
This has been happening slowly and surely over the last few months, and it's really making me sad; when I first joined the forum here I was surprised at the level-headed-ness that I saw. I had originally anticipated the Reptile Community to be like a "members only" club of snobby people (kind of how some dog breeders are), so I was happy to see it wasn't. Now, over the past few months I have seen this forum change into a mob-ish mentality....I don't know what WE are coming to

On another forum he said he is picking up the other boa tonight and was going to go ahead and do it. I sincerely hope not.
Erik, if you are reading this, I really hope you think this through. Just be careful and don't so anything rash. PLease.

Who is this WE you keep referring to? Got a mouse in your pocket? Some folks, be they children or old fogies, just don't get it. Now, I may well be one of those well-respected folks you obliquely refer too, but trust me, had he not been such a...turd in the punch bowl, he would have gotten a different reaction. Do you suppose he may have learned something? Do you suppose if he didn't recently that he might over the next month, or year, or forever, about what lead to his treatment?
Granted, there was some picking, but what would you have, coddling and wiping his grimy behind for him forever? We don't, me in particular, find that to be productive, especially in an online format. It's not my job to make this kid, or anyone, into a decent human being. It's not yours either. You can choose to be of assistance should you wish, but I also have to same option to not. I tried, others tried, you probably tried, frankly I don't remember who said what to this kid, but one thing I do know, if you repeatedly ask for, eventually you're going to get it. Some responsibility also lies with the recipient in this case, perhaps not in all, but in this one, most assuredly.
Staff here, and more than a few members, do a pretty good job keeping things helpful and friendly. You have no clue what went on behind the scenes, who sent what PMs, who talked on other forums or emails, all you see is what's out in the open here and now. From what I see, he had others trying to help him elsewhere and he just wouldn't accept. Hopefully, but doubtfully, he learned a good lesson here. There's one for you too, and I mean no disrespect is saying so. You'll not be changing human nature. Once you've tried being nice to someone, repeatedly, and they keep spitting in your face, insulting you and worse, your friends, you will see some who have simply had enough and put an end to it.
If he WAS too stupid to realize this, then hopefully he now knows better. If he doesn't, if he's been shown what will happen when he acts the way he did, when he's been warned and helped and tolerated and given chance after chance, only to spit on it all, then who is to blame? The people who tried to help him, to teach him, to show him? Or the fool himself?
We've had a couple of real turds on the site in the last little bit and in the end they were flushed as all turds should be. But have you looked at how many others received help, were given good caring advice by kind and caring people taking time out of their lives to help those they know not at all? If you were to count threads containing such kindness I bet they would far outnumber the ones like this and those whose stench have lately permeated the site.
Don't overlook the unobtrusive good for the outrageous bad. It's like not seeing the forest for the trees.

Breeding Dumeril's
Calling the majority of the forum stupid isn't going to get nice replies. The forum may all jump on his posts but his rudeness is what causes that. If he breeds there's a rather large pool of people that now know about him and would not buy from him, even if he could somehow make/buy a proper setup for the babies.
I do agree the forum does tend to gang up but I feel in this case he asked for it again and again. I joined forums around age 14/15 and I never acted anything like that. Age is no excuse.

Alright people since the OP is temporarily bannedm we might take this opportunity to enjoy a little peace for a while, I see no reason to keep the drama going and therefore this thread is lock until further notice.
