No way that breeder would ever see even a penny more of my money. what's he gonna do give you $20 off a random snake that isn't the one you pick out next time. then he can give you 20 off the third snake when the second snake isn't what you ordered.

A discount on another snake...that is just...more business for the seller who frakked up the first time! NO! DONT DO IT!

If need be, put up a post on the BOI (Board of Inquiries) at the Fauna Classified website. This is unacceptable.

Yeah, BOI is my suggestion. Or at least go to him first, and explain that if he doesn't make it right in a more fair way, you'll have to take it to a Bad Guy Thread. Giving him the chance to fix his mistake before he tarnishes his reputation publicly, via the Fauna BOI.

There is no way I would do business with that individual again if their way to fix their mistake is to give you a discount on repeat business.

You know why? Because I give discounts on repeat business just to see my customers again. Not to cover my behind. If and when I make a mistake. I would do everything in my power to make it right in a fair and equitable manner. Not to avoid a bad guy thread on the BOI, even though in this Hobby/Business your reputation is everything. But because a customer who feels that they were treated fairly will remember that and return to you. Even though you goofed up.

He sent me the right morph, but not the one advertised in the add , instead he sent me a young low quality that was already Browning out and mostly tan, and yes I asked for a specific one pictured and he said he still had it.I and others on here looked at the pattern and it is not the same snake, the one he sent wasn't even in the add.

Yeah I would demand a refund. Bad business. When all is said and done you should do a review. That's terrible.

So he basically ripped you off and his way of fixing it is by having you buy something else from him.

Again, mention in passing that you're considering a BOI. You can still post said BOI when all is said and done, but if he absolutely refuses to work with you, that'll be one more thing you can add. It's already bad business to not only not send the snake you asked for, but send a snake that wasn't even shown in any of the photos. It could have just been a mistake, but when sending a snake that wasn't listed in the first place, you know there's something fishy going on. Especially if it was a low-quality that you received that he didn't imagine would go anywhere else.

he would be either paying to ship the snake back that you did not ask for, and send you the snake that YOU PAID FOR, with no additional cost to you....or letting you keep the snake he sent you, and still sending you the snake that YOU PAID FOR, with no additional costs. if it were my mistake, as a breeder...that is how I would handle it. I would ship you the correct animal, and let you keep the animal I already sent you...good business and customer service will always pay off. if I screw up, then I do WHAT EVER IT TAKES to make my customer happy and get them the animal they wanted....it is a breeders RESPONSIBILITY to offer their customers absolute 100% healthy animals, and absolute 100% great customer service.
