    I find FT feeders bleed more from the mouth and nasal cavity than live. Not sure why that is but it's something I have always found. Try not to worry, sounds and looks normal to me.

    I agree with the previous posters. A majority of the time when I feed F/T there is some blood smears on the bedding or cage. I notice when most of the rats thaw there is usually light bleeding from the nose. It gets transferred to the snake, bedding, and cage sometimes during the feeding process.
