This is the bottom of one of the cages with a heat pad stuck on there. I think it will be fine? The bottom where its stuck is recessed a little from the feet so there is airflow and the heatpad isn't directly on the other cages top. Theres also a cut hole for a probe cord :)

One thing I found out retroactively... it doesn't have the two locks so I have to by them from the supplier which is a little annoying but not enough to make me regret the purchase. Oh noes. I might spend as much as i would have on ONE cage on two with extras and locks :P

Pretty cool! I may look into these! Btw, I'd recommend a heat mat that's a lil' bigger. Looks like that one would only heat his/her hide space

Yup, I just slapped that on to give an idea what it'd look like :) I'm going to get her a bigger mat

Yeah the zoomed heat pads should work fine, they can get pretty hot though, I melted the bottom of a plastic container with one once. You'll need a thermostat to regulate the heat. If that's a hot rock I see in the bottom cage in that picture, I'd clip off the cord and use it as a decoration.

Very nice pickup. I actually haven't seen these before, granted I don't do much looking around for anything with glass. Nice though and even better that they're stackable.

So, stupid question possibly, do the heat mat sizes matter with a thermostat? I think the one on there is a zoo med 10-20l. Would their 30-40l hurt the cage?

I think the best bet for most of these questions would be to just e-mail the manufacturer and ask them. I posted a link to the website. If you're interested, surely they could tell ya'.
