    Re: Double rex? Single? Hairless?
Updated pics! Ok, so can someone clarify something about rex babies? Do they sometimes have super thin fur? Some of mine kind of look like they're balding, or very sickly looking lol.

    Normal rex next to baldy:

They're really weird looking. Hairless rex maybe?

Sometimes rex will moult their fur almost entirely or in patches then regrow it. (Some tend to bald as they get older too.) But it seems to me they do it later than your babies. I didn't work a whole lot with rex, so someone with more experience will have to chime in on that.

(Funny side note: I once had a litter of standard furred babies that moulted out like that! No health problems no parasites, they just moulted almost bald, then regrew their fur like nothing was wrong. They didn't do that until around 6-8 weeks though.)

Yeah that's what I've read. These guys are not even three weeks. I'm definitely holding onto these guys just to see what happens lol.

    Re: Double rex? Single? Hairless?
Ok so I'm thinking maybe my curly haired ones are DR and the naked ones are true hairless. Some of the curly ones have started losing hair on their shoulders big time, and now the peach fuzz ones are super bald and smooth. I've read that a lot of high quality DR start out really well furred, but I've also read that low quality single rexes can lose fur when they're young. I just don't know what to think lol. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/02/e7esaneg.jpg

Thanks! I wasn't sure because he's losing it in the same pattern that the peach fuzz ones lost theirs. Is there anything I can do to cut down on over grooming? I've never had to deal with it in my standard furs.

I think I might hold back the blue guy. He's really cool, almost purple in person.
