Dollar store usually has good selections on bowls too. I use hard plastic crock dishes, and so far they haven't spilt those. The "human" glass bowls I had before always got tipped.

We order our deli cups online from the Webstaurant store. 500 16 ounce deli cups for less than $30 delivered. We use the opaque cups instead of the translucent, a little cheaper. Also, we use the 4" pvc couplers as well but we attach ours using natural rubber sealant caulk, no harmful chemicals and no odor. Some of our bigger girls still turner their bowl over when the coupler was not attached. Hope this helps.

I use the medium crock bowls. They seemed to work great when the snakes were young, but once they got bigger they seem to flip them without much problem.

That is one thing that I did not think of. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I bought the 3" ethical stoneware bowls for my baby rack. Got 24 of them for $30 shipped.

Amazon sells them for $4 with free shipping from their warehouse. If you pick one of the other sellers from the "x new from..." link that sells them for $1.10 + $3 shipping, the shipping combines on multiples and you save a ton.

My 15qt tubs have 10oz ceramic cat bowls from Petco with removable non-skid rubber bottoms. My 32qt and 41qt tubs have 24 and 40oz petsmart plain ceramic bowls. The biggest one is $6 and I've never had problems.
