    He is absolutely a common Colombian BCI. Colombians are the most common locality of BCI. Nothing wrong with that - they are pretty special critters. Most of my boas are Colombians. But they are common and if you do not know for a fact that he is a different locality, it is almost certain that he's a Colombian. And his picture pretty much confirms that. :gj:

    Any baby boa at only 1 1/2 months old should be on mouse fuzzies or hoppers. Some breeders start their neonates on rats, and that is ok, but I have found that young boas tend to grow better on mice rather than rats. Rat pinks and pups have a higher fat content which isn't so good for rapidly growing boas.

    Boas do best when fed smaller prey less often. A baby boa should not be fed more often than once every 7-10 days. Rule of thumb is to feed a prey item that does not leave a noticeable lump in the belly. Less is more when it comes to boas. ;)
