Well guys, lucky news. I tried feeding him again larger rat today and he ate. However, he refused the prey in a separate enclosure so I moved him back to his original enclosure and offered him the rat. He seemed interested but didn't strike so I started to become desperate that he wouldn't eat again. However, after some moments of shaking and moving with the rat he struck and ate it all. Now he rests in his cold side hide but I hope that he will move to the hot side so that he has no problems digesting. We'll see.
What concerns me next is that due to the reason I fed him in his original enclosure, a small pieces of cypress mulch got on the rats fur and he ate it all. Should I be worried that something might happen to my BP or is it OK?

Well, I meant that the ambient temp of his enclosure is 84-86 not that the ambient temps of the room. The ambient temp of the room I keep him in is around 76. And I manage to keep the temp gradients in my BP's enclosure with UTH on his hot side and a 75W heat lamp on the cold side that is on for 12-14 hours.

Just a recommendation I wouldn't feed a BP in a separate enclosure due to the fact they can be picky eaters and randomly go off feed for any given reason. I would do as little as possible to help them with this and by trying to move enclosures you can do that. Just be careful.

Everybody else has touched on everything else, just follow the advice that was given and you'll be fine.
