That's exactly why I did it, they might not be expensive but they are base morphs that I should have in my collection to create some more expensive combos. I didn't have cash to buy more snakes and now I have a mojo a pin and eventually albinos and when I breed that mojo to my lesser I'll have some BELS to trade or sell and get some pied stuff. I've only been in this a year so I'm just getting started building my breeding stock

For what it's worth, I think you made a good decision for YOU. Yes, she was a splendid example and yes, you probably got less in trade value. However...you are adding more genes to your collection that you can use in other ways. Even though the immediate value isn't there, you'll be able to make back the trade value in the babies you produce from those girls.

A Super Pastel hatchling goes for $300 these days. Pin- $150, Mojo- $200, 1.1 Het Albino pair $150. You did not do poorly at all :confusd:
You have just turned one nice hatchling into three females. To me that triples your egg production. I don't see how that's a bad thing with the morphs you got in trade. They will all be desirable.... KingPins, BEL's and Albinos!!

Thanks for the posts folks y'all made me feel better about my decision it was hard But I accomplished what I set out to do, get a more varied collection so I can breed something besides pastels.
