funny story, once when i was about 13... a pet store owner told my father i should get a bci, they were 'only' 250 or so dollars, and would take 12 years to grow over 3 feet. i guess herp sales used to be a bit tougher to make bc he was lying through his teeth.

Even with experience and years of 'affection', they will end up killing u if given the chance. I guess anything bigger then us will try to.

Although they are capable of killing you i dont think they would, they arent "vicios" animals. People only end up dead becuase of there stupid mistakes, all or most of the people you read about who got killed, got killed becuase either the snake ran loose in the house around kids, or during feeding time when the made a stupid mistake.

"While in bed, naked except for briefs, . . . "

". . . at the time of the attack the snake was not confined to a cage, but had freedom to move about the house."

Gee, maybe the kid should have confined the snake to its enclosure while he was sleeping.

yeah i cant beleive someone would let a 12 feet python roam freely in the house. Dats like letting a tiger roaming in your house freely.

But speaking of man killer snake, back in the year 1995 there was an incident where a man was killed by a reticulated python. The python was discovered wrapping the man and had the man's head in its mouth! It happened in Perak, Malaysia. It was quite a sight.
