If they were taken a few days ago, you still have one more shed until eggs!

How do you figure when she's already ovulated? I've radiographed several females and this is at the pre lay stage. Can you elaborate what you are basing this on? She is due to lay 09/16

Her neck was bent, I have other radiographs of her with no kink :)

Do you have a pic of her ov?

This is gravid. Note the shape and size of the masses. I believe yours are follicles.

Re: More Gravid Radiographs - Female Pinstripe 2 Weeks Post Pre-Lay Shed
I agree with Squamish Serpents. I went through the same thing with my girl this past season. I am a vet student and took her to the clinic where they ultrasounded and radiographed. Mine only had five follicles, and I thought she had already ovulated because she shed just two weeks before I took the images, but it turned out she ovulated 11 days later, shed again 20 days after the ovulation, and had pretty little eggs 30 days after that. I was convinced that I had eggs when I radiographed, but turns out the follicles are up in the middle of the body, and when the snake ovulates the (Now) eggs move towards the tail.
Good luck and keep us posted!

Update: Eggs Laid Right On Time (Early actually)
Hey everyone, quick update. Her clutch was laid today (09/12/2013) and 10 beautiful eggs as shown on the radiographs above. She laid almost 2 weeks exactly after the radiographs were taken so she was definitely gravid at the time. Thanks for the input everyone
