she might be heterozygous for a genetic stripe trait. some of the babies look like they have that barbed wire kind of stripe pattern. Like, the ones on the left look like het reduced het genetic stripe. Or something similar to that. These are some het stripe het reduced babies that nerd produced. they look kind of similar. http://shop.newenglandreptile.com/14...tic-stripe.jpghttp://shop.newenglandreptile.com/16...en-reduced.jpg

all i can find right now. it's late and i have to be up in 6 hours for an 8 oclock class. there have been others produced, but most of them never even make it through incubation. it's a debate that gets beaten to death every time it's brought up and i've been in it about one too many times. lol there are others who's opinions i think very highly of that believe the same, so do the research yourself and come to the conclusion you want, but i'm too tired to get into a huge debate over the subject. lol

edit: wait, didn't you do a huge study on this or something..?

Thank you for the input guys

at the time of the pic the two on the right were in shed (1st shed) other were coming - when they were first born they were all near on the same colour (golden)

Looking at a straight visual on the babies I would have said "phantom spider" or "mystic spider" although mum doesn't look like either really or could she just be a bad looking one ? Or is she a HET, but all 5 eggs hatched out of 5 and these turned up? Was I really that lucky ?

if she's a stripe carrier where has that intense gold/yellow came from?

I believe there was one member here that has a male spider that throws full spider clutches every time. I know it was a long time ago when I read about it. I also have not seen anyone claiming a white snake as a super spider:confusd:

the gold yellow color could have came from the spider. Especially when they are young their colors are pretty vivid. Theres a chance that they will darken up in shedding in the upcoming year. I had a few month old normal and she was a bright yellow until about 6 months in and she got a lot darker and didn't look like a pastel anymore. :(

Mom almost looks like a chocolate to me. I'd like to see the babies all post-shed, too. You have pics of the dad?
