    Arent most racks made of melamine coated wood??

    And if you get a thermostat (which I would hope you wouldn't get a UTH without one) you should be able to prevent it from overheating

    Also, your thermometer/hygrometer....you're getting a digital one right??

    Yes I definitely wouldn't get a UTH without a thermostat. Found a good thermostat on amazon that is used for heat pads for hydroponics and it's all digital programming. And I did buy a digital thermo/hygrometer, I have digital for my Bearded so I'm well aware of the accuracy issues. I bought some moss for now to keep humidity in there in the meantime before I get my UTH and thermostat.
