Hopefully this is at least a bit educational for some of us noobs, not not totally a :rage:fest. Wish there were "official" standards for morphs, like there are for dog breeds, but I know it wouldn't really work.

And to those that want to weigh in that "Thingamagig is not the same morph as Whatsit." please describe the differences so us new guys can get it.

I agree on the green pastel = HRA. I don't know about the lace blackback though. However, after seeing many many green pastel combos and super green pastels at the past few expos and comparing them to RA and HRA stuff I see for sale, I'm confident that they are the same mutation, with a different name.

A White Diamond is a BEL. White Diamonds are Leucistic snakes. There are more than one kind of BEL. Just like Lavender Albinos, Toffees, Candys, Caramel Albinos and Albinos are all considered Albino, they're just different types.

These are not even close as a white diamond is a bel.. and there are many different types of Bels. White diamonds are Russos, your "standard" BEL is a combo of lesser, mojo, or butter. And when you say BEL that also included black eyes as well which is not even remotely close to a white diamond. So..sorry but this isn't true.

Black pewter blast = Black pewter pinstripe.

They have a lot to be honest. The first person to produce that morph usually picks the name which sticks, though sometimes people don't use it so that's how you end up with diff names I guess.

I know WD to be a the super form of het Russo. While BEL comes from the specific complex of genes. While I think they should all (the true super forms) be labeled what they are, they are different in essence.

Because, super Mojave is gonna throw all Mojaves. While super lesser is going to throw all lessers

A name for super lessers like Least would be stupid right? I totally think that should stick. "oh I hatched a BEL" "what is it?" "a Least.". Gawd, I'd cry if that sticks.

I know they are not the same but they do look similar...... Black Pastel/Cinnamon and also Mojave/Mystic/Phantom again these are NOT the same but they do look a lot alike and can easily be confused.
