    The newest pictures look much better. I only put maybe half an inch of substrate in my tubs. Is there a reason you are using so much?

    It will work fine as long as you catch the eggs early enough after being laid to separate them. I normally use an inch or less of substrate, unless I have a big clutch. Then, I've got some 12 qt boxes set up. Also, if I come home from work and find that a group of eggs are all stuck together and are tall, I may go to the 12 qt tub. Always good to have a backup!     Good plan. I was talking to my gf about that. We have been checking pretty often because we are very anxious but I was thinking about setting up a 12 or 15 quarter

    I wasn't able to find 12 qt and the 15 qt is bigger but not much taller.
