Now that you have that DRMB you should focus on that for sure. It would be nice to get more of those into the hobby, but yellows are always great. I know a friend who had 20+ babies with his yellow.

Ya the DRMB might turn into one of those "I can't afford any other snakes for awhile" projects lol.

Gotta start saving my pennies and maybe I can get some babies outta this deal.

Just got a text from tom. He picked out the cream of the crop, I said female would be preferable, and he said the best looking animal is a male, so he's sending that out. It's ok, I told him I'm just gonna have to buy a female now lol.

Man, I wished these were in Texas! None for sale here. Damn this government and their overreaching Lacey Act...

Well a little update for everyone! I went to the show in sac today and locked in a baby female yellow anaconda! Its funny because my wife doesn't want any larger species than the BCI's we have now(our largest is 8.25') and she agreed to make this snake my Christmas present!

I really wanted her to get me a Female Dominican Red Mountain Boa, but she said $1k is a little much for a Xmas present so I agreed and she got one for me.

We got the most docile one out of the litter, and it is a very pastel colored female, which my wife liked the best. So I am very happy to be bringing this snake home very soon for an early present :)

Ya that would have been cool meeting a local at a show! I saw a bunch of people I know there but nobody from here.

I'll be honest, I'm a boa guy, and there was WAY to many ball pythons for me lol, but it was pretty cool. It was actually my first show. How did you like Shedskin, CVHS and the Serpentarium? Those were the main vendors that I knew a lot if the people from. I actually bought my yellow from Jeff at Shedskin. Those were the ones I watched come into this world :)

    Definitely a nice pickup.

If I were you I would said you preferred the nicest female over the male. This is simply due to females being more expensive then males.

I'm pretty close with the family that owns this shop, they always do me right :) I did get a female, and one that both my wife and the shop owners wife thought was the nicest so it worked out well. His wife is no slouch when it comes to reptile lol.
