ALBINO Breeding??

    She probably won't be ready for 3 years, and males are usually ready to breed their 2nd winter. So you don't have to buy a male right away. If you save up and wait, you might be able to afford something fancier.

    ... but if you want a male right now, I'd got with a "dominant gene het for albino." Spider het for albino or pinstripe het for albino are both good suggestions. I'm not a huge fan of pastel albinos, but I do like pewter albinos. Poke around and find an albino combination you like.

    You can also start a double-het project, if you want to spend $500 on a male piebald. But those can take most of a decade to pan out. If you want spectacular albino babies on the first breeding, go with dominant genes and albino hets.
