Re: The Capree gene! "Going to be a game changer"
I will try to figure out the picture thing. I will post them again through another program for those who can't see them.

I'm Stephanie from Daily Exotics! I have been working with a new gene or "genes" for a few years now with awesome results. I'm not positive on if there is a super yet, If its more than one gene, or what line of ghost I'm dealing with. All I know is that it makes really cool combos! The Capree gene cleans up an animal, add lots of blushing, and they get lighter with each shed.

My Capree Pastel Ghost male is currently breeding, and my het Orange ghost girl just had her prelay shed. This will be the first eggs that I have produced from the original females offspring. I'm hoping to figure out if it is compatible with the O.G. line. I have also bred the Original female back to 2 of her sons. Maybe this year I can find out more about how the gene or genes work. So far it's either Dominant or Co-Dominant.

Pictured is just a few of the Capree animals that I produced. I'm lucky enough that the original female produces large clutches. I have raised her since a baby and have kept all of her offspring from the 2 clutches that she has had. I have a total of 17 from her.

Capree Pastel Ghost from the same clutch ("I can't wait to produce a Super Capree Pastel Ghost") I have 1.1 and they look like twins! Female is pictures at 900+ grams!

I call this one the weird Capree Spider from the same clutch. Him and his sister look like opposites. That is why I think I might be dealing with 2 genes.

This years Capree Fire Fly! I produced 1.1 Female is pictured around 200 grams! I can not wait for her to get some size on her!

I also have a Capree Pastel Sugar "In Shed" and 1 maybe 2 Capree Sugar girls

I will try to keep this thread updated when I figure out more info! Thanks for looking!

Very cool stuff...reminds me of this girl...unfortunately not a Capree...:tears:

Hey Steph, we bought our Fire female from you earlier this year and since a little before that I have been following your work with this gene (genes) on your website. I'm excited to see what it does with other genes as well! It's looking great so far, good luck!:D

Well, that capree spider is amazing looking. Clearly the variation is pretty large since those 2 spiders looks nothing alike. I hope you're going to selectivly breed this, as I do see a lot of potential. Is that wacky spider a 2nd or 3rd generation?

Thanks! He is out of the original female. The original female has been locking with him and her other son "Pastel Ghost" I'm crossing my fingers for a split clutch!
